Alternative to Puzzlebot: one script on Telegram, MAX, VK and website
Puzzlebot is a constructor that grew up around Telegram: payments in the bot, referral programs, subscription verification. CHBT is wider in terms of channels and narrower in terms of “telegram” mechanics. If you need the same bot in MAX, VKontakte and on the website, read on. If you need payments and referrals within Telegram, Puzzlebot is honestly stronger.
The main difference is the channels
Puzzlebot is historically focused on Telegram and is deeply built into it. CHBT comes from something else: a business has one conversation flow with a client, but clients have several messengers. Therefore, in CHBT one project (“Bot”) connects Telegram, MAX, VKontakte and a widget on the site at the same time, and the script is not duplicated.
Practically it looks like this: you connected Telegram using a token from @BotFather, and a month later you added MAX - a token from business.max.ru, “Channels” → “Connect MAX”. There is no need to rebuild the script. Where the channels differ (Telegram has URL buttons, VK has up to 10 buttons, 2 in a row), a “Condition” block is placed on the channel. A widget on a website is also a channel: the “Open Widget” trigger launches a script, and the “Leave Contacts” form creates a contact and a deal in CRM. All incoming channels from four channels are in one “Conversations” list.

Price per bot
Both services count money for the bot, not for subscribers. The difference is what is included in the steps. CHBT has three of them:

The trial day of “Business” is enabled in the “Payment” section, payment by card via CloudPayments, auto-renewal is disabled there. What Puzzlebot has and CHBT doesn't have
- Payments in the bot. CHBT has no card payments via Telegram Payments: the “Payment” block sends a link to your provider’s page — Prodamus, YooKassa or CloudPayments — or an invoice in Telegram Stars, and the shop in your bot accepts payment via YooKassa or CloudPayments and Stars for digital products.
- Referral programs and points. None. You can tag a source via deep link and count manually, but there is no accrual mechanics.
- Channel subscription check. Yes: the “Subscription” rule in a “Condition” asks Telegram whether the person is subscribed — if the bot is a channel admin. The “Checking subscription” template gives material only to subscribers, and giveaways check the subscription on entry and at the draw.
- Photos, videos and files in Telegram messages. So far, only text and buttons; files work in the widget on the site.
- Telegram-specific. Puzzlebot is more deeply integrated with Telegram; if your task is entirely within this messenger and requires its niche capabilities, check the list.
What does CHBT give besides Telegram
- MAX and VKontakte with the same flow. Channel pages: bot for MAX, bot for VKontakte. The choice between instant messengers is discussed in the article “MAX or Telegram”.
- Website widget with a pre-chat form, proactive triggers (time on page, URL, leaving the site), working hours and a list of allowed domains.
- AI agent in the knowledge base in text, with model selection and escalation to the operator based on trigger words or in case of uncertainty; block "AI agent" in the script.
- “Conversations” and team. Inbox for all channels, assignment of conversations, quick response templates, Web Push, roles Owner / Administrator / Operator.
- «CRM» - kanban of transactions linked to a contact; a deal is created from a flow using the “Transaction in CRM” action.
- Product catalog. AI seller (from the Basic plan) responds with your price and availability: uploading the store via a link, file or Wildberries seller key. Products from an external source arrive in draft form, unknown availability is called “to be confirmed.”
- Marketplaces and QR. Wildberries and Ozon by seller key with a matrix of opportunities, where the catalog is marked “not verified” before the first download; digest of orders and reviews; Yandex Market, Kaspi.kz and Uzum Market - catalog file; QR for package insert - “Buyer Bot” template. None of the platforms have chats.

How to move with Puzzlebot
- Build the script in CHBT - in Steps or on Canvas - and run it in test chat.
- Create “Deeplink” triggers for payloads from old links
t.me/bot?start=...and “Keyword” triggers for commands that subscribers are used to. - Connect the same token from @BotFather to “Channels” → “Connect Telegram”. The webhook will go to CHBT, in Puzzlebot the bot will stop responding - subscribers and the t.me link will remain.
- Add MAX and VKontakte, if needed, the flow is the same.
- Invite operators to “Access”, enable notifications in “Conversations”.
Correspondence history and statistics cannot be transferred from Puzzlebot; contacts will appear in “Contacts” the first time you message a new bot or through import: insert the lines name,email,phone,channel,uid,tags into the “CSV Import” field of the “Contacts” section (no need to upload the file; available to the Owner and Admin; uid - Telegram ID). Are Puzzlebot and CHBT the same in function?
No. Puzzlebot is stronger inside Telegram: payments, referrals, media, subscription verification. CHBT gives one script for Telegram, MAX, VKontakte and website, operator inbox, AI agent and marketplaces.
Does CHBT accept payments in the bot?
There are no card payments via Telegram Payments. A payment link through your provider — Prodamus, YooKassa or CloudPayments — or an invoice in Telegram Stars is sent by the “Payment” block in a flow, and after payment the flow continues through the “Paid” output. Payment through a storefront is also accepted by the shop in your bot.
Does channel subscription check work?
Yes: the “Subscription” rule in a “Condition” asks Telegram whether the person is subscribed to the channel — for that the bot must be a channel admin. The “Checking subscription” template gives material only to subscribers.
Is it possible to launch one bot in Telegram and MAX at once?
Yes. Connect both channels in the “Channels” section - the flow is common, the differences between messengers are separated by the “Condition” block by channel.
