Chat quiz for Telegram: a timer, everyone’s own points and a leaderboard
A quiz for a Telegram group chat: on /kviz the bot asks questions as built-in Telegram quizzes with a timer. Every member answers, when time is up the bot posts who got it right, and at the end there is a points leaderboard. Replace the “Geography of Russia” questions with your own in the editor. In MAX, VK and on the website the same questions use buttons.

How the game works
Someone in the chat types /kviz. The bot sends an intro and the first question — a built-in Telegram quiz with a 20-second timer. Every member answers once and can’t change the vote: that’s how Telegram quizzes work. When time is up, the bot posts the correct answer and who got it right, then asks the next question. After the eighth — “Quiz results”: a leaderboard of members by points.
If the bot gets in the way — /stop: the “Go silent in this chat” action turns it off until /start.
How to connect it to a group
Connect the Telegram bot in Channels and in the channel menu choose “Respond to commands in groups”: in a group chat the bot will react only to commands addressed to it and to its own buttons, not to every message. Add the bot to the chat — it doesn’t need to be an admin. Install the template and type /kviz in the chat.
Change the questions in the editor: the “Quiz question” block has the text, up to 10 options, the correct answer and a time limit from 5 to 600 seconds. In MAX, VK and on the website the same questions use buttons — there each chat has one shared score.
Frequently asked questions about the template
Can you see who answered what?
Yes: the quiz is not anonymous — Telegram shows the votes, and after each question the bot posts who got it right and counts each member’s points.
Does the bot need to be an admin?
No. Just add the bot to the chat and turn on “Respond to commands in groups” for the channel. The bot doesn’t process members’ regular messages.
How much does it cost?
