Lead magnet delivery bot: material in exchange for a contact
An exchange: the person leaves a contact, the bot gives a link to the guide. This template does not imitate a channel membership check.

Contact for material: how the flow is built
A “Message” with the offer (what the material is and what to do) → an email “Data collection” with format validation (can be replaced with a phone) → a “Message” with a link to the file — best as an “Open” URL button. The trigger is /start. The material is given as a link: the bot in Telegram, MAX and VK doesn’t send files or photos, so the PDF lives on a drive, in a private post or on a website page.
After delivery, add “Action → add tag” magnet:guide: this is a segment for follow-ups and broadcasts. The owner gets an email about a new request automatically on the first saved contact. What a lead magnet is and how it differs from an offer — in the marketer’s glossary.
Entry by a code word and follow-up after delivery
For traffic from a post or a profile header, add a “Keyword” trigger (“GUIDE”, “contains” mode) or a “Deep link” with a payload — the source tag is set by the first block. From a Telegram channel a deep link is more convenient: the person taps a button under the post and types nothing.
The follow-up continues the flow: a 1-day “Pause” → a button question “Had a chance to look?” → the tags warm / cold → another “Pause” → an offer for warm leads. Frequently asked questions about the template
Can I send a PDF straight into a Telegram chat?
No. In Telegram, MAX and VK the bot sends only text and buttons. The material is given as a link — to a drive, a website page or a private post — preferably with a URL button. Files are sent only in the website widget.
Does the template check channel subscription before delivery?
No — and it does not imitate a check. For an honest request to join with button confirmation there is a separate “Subscription check” template; CHBT does not yet have a real API check.
