Chatbot designers in Russia 2026: comparison of six services
There are more than a dozen chatbot designers on the Russian market, and almost everyone promises “all messengers and AI.” The difference is found not in the checklist of functions, but in five things: which channels are really in focus, what they charge money for and how the account grows with the base, whose neural network responds and how much it costs, what happens to the lead after the bot and whether there is a chat on the site. Below is a comparison of Salebot, BotHelp, Puzzlebot, ChatPlace, ManyChat and CHBT according to these criteria, with an honest listing of what each of them is stronger than the others.
Criteria and data disclaimer
It makes no sense to compare by the number of functions: any mature service has hundreds of them, and you won’t need many of them. We took five criteria that determine whether a constructor is suitable for a particular business:
- Channels - are not “supported”, but are the focus of development. This can be seen by where new features appear first.
- Price model - per subscribers, per messages, per bot or in currency. It determines how much the bot will cost in a year, and not in the first month.
- II — whose model, whether it is included in the plan, how the expense is calculated.
- CRM and team — where the lead goes, whether several operators can work in one inbox.
- Website widget — is there an online chat in the same account or is it a separate product.
Disclaimer: data on other people's services was taken from their public websites as of September 2026 and described qualitatively - charging model, channel focus, approach to AI. Specific prices and limits of competitors change several times a year, so we do not list them: check the date of your choice. We are talking about CHBT for sure, because it is our product - including what is not in it.
Pivot table

*Meta is recognized as an extremist organization and is banned in the Russian Federation.
Channels: two camps
The market is divided into those who grew up around the social networks Meta* and WhatsApp, and those who are built around Telegram, VK and MAX. This is not an assessment, but the geography of development: functions appear first in the “native” channel, the rest catch up.
Social network camp Meta* and WhatsApp: ManyChat, ChatPlace, in many ways BotHelp and Salebot. If your audience writes in Direct and you are ready to work with the limitations of these platforms for businesses from the Russian Federation, the choice from this camp is logical - they have perfected triggers for comments, stories and reactions. Why CHBT does not deliberately make bots for these platforms and what it invests in instead - in separate analysis.
Camp Telegram/VK/MAX: Puzzlebot (only Telegram, but deep), CHBT (four channels with one script). MAX as a channel is gradually appearing in large services in 2025–2026: Salebot and BotHelp have announced it, Puzzlebot and ManyChat do not have it. In CHBT MAX is one of the four main channels from day one, and this affects the details: the script works the same in Telegram and MAX without modification, and texts and buttons are adapted to the limitations of each platform. When to choose what - in the article MAX or Telegram.
Practical conclusion: write down the channels where your customers write to you today, and remove from the comparison everyone who does not have these channels in focus. Usually two or three candidates remain.
Price: per subscriber, per bot or in dollars
Three models, each with predictable consequences.
For subscribers or contacts (BotHelp, ChatPlace, Salebot, ManyChat). It’s cheap in the first month: there is no base yet. A year later, the base has grown, including those who wrote once and left, and the plan went up a notch. Plus of the model: a small project pays little. Disadvantage: you need to clean the database or put up with an increase in your account; with a successful post with thousands of subscriptions, the bill jumps before the revenue appears.
For the bot (Puzzlebot by levels, CHBT fixed). The price does not depend on the base and flow. In CHBT it is 0 ₽ with a limit of 30 conversations per month, 650 ₽ on Basic without a conversation limit and 1,290 ₽ on Business with a large supply of AI credits; All channels are included in any plan. Minus: a project with five conversations per month pays the same as with five thousand - there is a free plan for it, but with a strict limit. What exactly does it include - in the article about free plan CHBT.
In currency (ManyChat). The price depends on the exchange rate, payment by RF card is difficult - usually this is a decisive argument against, even if you like the product.
Almost everyone has free levels, but they are structured differently: a limit on subscribers, one channel, a trial period or a limit on conversations. Compare not the availability of Free, but what happens when the limit is reached: the bot is silent, demands payment, or responds with a service message. Economics based on three tasks - in the article about how much does a chatbot cost.
AI: someone else's model by key or agents inside the plan
It is easy to buy something that is not what you expected here. Let's look at the approaches.
Integration with external model. This is how many constructors work: you connect ChatGPT or an analogue, often with your own key and a separate account from the model provider. Plus: any model, full control over the prompt. Minus: two bills (constructor + tokens), the need to understand what an API key is, and dependence on the availability of foreign providers.
Built-in assistant (ManyChat). Convenient, but the model and price are dictated by the vendor, and payment is in dollars.
Agents within the plan (CHBT). In the “AI agents” section, you specify a role, a knowledge base in free text, select a model from ten - GPT-5, Claude, Gemini, DeepSeek or Qwen, each with a response price indicated. The agent is placed in the flow with the “AI agent” block; when he is not sure of the answer, the conversation goes through the “did not understand” port - usually to “Operator”, and the words “operator”, “person” are caught in a separate script with the “Keyword” trigger. Expenses are considered credits: the default answer for models is one credit, more expensive on powerful models, 150 credits per month on Basic and 500 on Business, without a separate account for tokens and without your own key. You can add text, a link page, and PDF, DOCX, TXT, MD, CSV files to the database; the model is selected in the agent settings. Limitations: scans without a text layer are not recognized, there is no automatic site crawl and a separate report on unanswered questions is not yet available.
A question worth asking any vendor is: “What happens when the AI limit runs out in the middle of a conversation?” In CHBT, the agent responds with a neutral text, and the script goes along the fallback branch - for example, to buttons or to the operator. Answers like “buy an additional package” are also normal, the main thing is to know in advance.
CRM, inbox and team: what happens to the lead after the bot
The bot assembled the phone - then the real work begins, and this is where the services diverge the most.
Salebot historically closest to “designer + CRM”: funnels, cards, statuses, dozens of ready-made integrations. If you don’t have your own CRM and don’t plan to, this is an argument.
BotHelp and ChatPlace They rely on inboxing and transferring leads to external systems: amoCRM, Bitrix24, tables. Your own CRM is minimal.
Puzzlebot — about managing Telegram channels and chats; CRM in the usual sense is not the main thing there.
CHBT kept in the middle: the “CRM” section - a kanban of deals with stages from “new” to “won/lost”, the deal is linked to a card in “Contacts” and is created manually, from the widget with the “Leave contacts” button or directly from the script using the “Deal in CRM” action (name with variables, amount, starting stage). There is a ready connection to Bitrix24 (lead to conversation event) and Omnidesk; there is no ready-made solution for amoCRM - the transfer occurs via a webhook or the “HTTP request” action (POST with contact data and variables) via Make, n8n, Albato or your server; the reverse script can be triggered by an incoming webhook. The “Conversations” inbox is common for all channels, with a conversation assigned to an operator, quick replies and Web Push; roles Owner, Administrator, Operator in the “Access” section. The free plan has one operator, the paid ones have no restrictions.
Ask yourself: do you need CRM inside the constructor or will the requests still go into your system? In the second case, the quality of the webhook is more important than the richness of the built-in kanban.
Widget for the site: a separate product or the same bot
Online chat on a website is a historically different market (Jivo, Carrot quest), and not all bot designers went there. Puzzlebot and ManyChat do not offer a widget, ChatPlace is not in focus, BotHelp has limited capabilities. Salebot has had a widget for a long time.
In CHBT the widget is the fourth channel of the same bot: one line of code before </body>, settings in the “Widget” section - title, color, position, agent avatar, pre-chat form with name, phone and e-mail, working hours with offline message, allowed domains. Proactive triggers: show a message after N seconds on a page, on a specific URL, or when trying to leave the site. Files in the chat - yes (this is the only channel CHBT where there are files at all). The same flow as in Telegram and MAX, the same inbox. On the free plan, the widget has the signature “CHBT”, on the paid plan – without it.
If chat on a website is more important to you than messengers, compare separately with specialized services - they have richer visitor analytics. If the site is one of the channels along with Telegram, a single script and inbox outweigh.
Everyone's strengths - no discounts
Salebot - the widest coverage of channels and integrations on the market, built-in CRM, payments, mini-landing pages. The price of this breadth is the entry threshold: the interface takes time. If you need “one service for everything” and have someone to understand it, this is a strong choice. What CHBT does differently.
BotHelp - broadcasts and auto funnels like basis, tools familiar to the information business market, mini-landing pages and multi-links. Weaker in CRM and website. Comparison with CHBT and transfer plan.
Puzzlebot - Telegram depth, inaccessible to multichannel services: managing channels and chats, moderation, accepting payments, checking subscriptions via API. If your business lives only in Telegram and you need exactly these functions, multichannel is not an argument. Where CHBT is inferior and where it is not.
ChatPlace - a strong visual editor and automation of personal messages in social networks Meta*. For those who work with this platform, it is one of the most convenient. What is the difference between CHBT.
ManyChat - the world standard for Meta* platforms, a huge database templates and training materials. For business from the Russian Federation it comes down to payment, channels and Russification. Russian replacement and moving procedure.
CHBT is the only one on this list who is built around trade, not around the number of channels. The product catalog is connected by uploading the store via a link (YML, Google Merchant, CSV), a file or a Wildberries seller key - and the AI seller (from the Basic plan) responds with your price and availability, and not with text that is rewritten by hand. Using the seller’s key, Wildberries and Ozon are connected (a summary of orders and reviews, Wildberries also has a catalogue), and for each key you can see a matrix of seven sections, where the catalog and prices are marked “not verified” before the first download; Yandex Market, Kaspi.kz and Uzum Market - only a directory file. Plus four channels with one flow, including MAX and a widget with “online” status; price per bot excluding base; AI agents inside the plan; QR campaigns for package inserts and the “Buyer Bot” template. Weaknesses that we talk about directly: there are exactly four channels - there will be no bots for the social networks Meta*, WhatsApp and Telegram Business; in messengers, script blocks send only text and buttons, without photos and files (photos are only available in the cards of the AI seller in Telegram); there is no cash register inside the bot, a calendar with slots, ready-made connections to amoCRM and RetailCRM and chats of the marketplaces themselves; broadcasts without media and buttons.
Who suits what: six profiles
- Sales through personal messages on Meta* social networks, the audience is there. ChatPlace or ManyChat, adjusted for payment and platform risks.
- Online store or seller: you need prices, availability and orders via chat. CHBT - catalog from a feed, file or Wildberries seller key and AI seller using it; For the rest, the goods will have to be driven in by hand or pulled by integrations.
- Information business with broadcasts and funnels to a large database. BotHelp or Salebot: their mailing tools are richer than those of CHBT.
- Business only in Telegram with a channel, chat and payment in a bot. Puzzlebot.
- One platform for everything: channels, CRM, payments, landing pages - and there is someone to customize. Salebot.
- Small and medium-sized businesses in Telegram, MAX, VK and on the website: leads, recording, support, AI answers in the knowledge base, predictable price. CHBT.
- A seller on marketplaces who wants to collect buyers to his base through a QR insert. CHBT - we don’t know any other constructors with this combination.
If you don’t recognize yourself in any of the profiles, start with the free plans of two candidates and put together the same script for 5-7 blocks on each. In an hour it will become clear whose interface is closer to you - this is more important than any table.
If you are moving: what is transferred and what is not?
Changing a designer frightens you with the loss of the base - in practice, more is transferred than it seems, but not everything.
- Bot in Telegram, MAX or VK - transferred entirely: this is the same token and the same @username. You insert the token in the “Channels” section of the new service, and subscribers continue to write to the usual bot. One token will not work in two services at the same time - there can only be one webhook.
- Flows - are not transferred, they are rebuilt. This is usually faster than it seems: in the template format CHBT, a typical recording or lead script is assembled in an hour, and on paid Plans, AI text editing (“add phone number after greeting”) speeds up fine-tuning.
- Contacts - are uploaded from the old service to CSV for your managers, but the new service will be able to write to these people first only after they write to the bot again. This is a limitation of messengers, not constructors.
- Tags and segments - are recreated manually; good time to put things in order in the naming.
- Widget on the website - replaced with one line code.
